Alamo Schools

Mission Statement

Our mission is to support all students in achieving high levels of performance as measured by the state standards, using formal and informal assessments, and implementing appropriate intervention strategies. Students will be engaged in their learning through best reaching practices in an inclusive school community which demonstrates sensitivity to others through words and actions.

Alamo Elementary School is one of the original schools of the San Ramon Valley Unified School District, located 35 miles East of San Francisco, tucked into the East Bay hills above the San Ramon Valley. Alamo School has changed in the past 25 years from a rural to a suburban school and ranks as one of the top performing schools in the District, County and State.

It presently has an attendance of 388 students with 18 instructional classrooms in addition to a computer lab, a science lab, an art room, instrumental and vocal music instruction, a MPR and library. At present it's API score is well above 900.
